One aspect of labor observed at this point is "playbor", a form of labor disguised as play. lab B aims to identify playbor as a phenomenon that represents human marginalization in an automated society. With artificial intelligence at its core, human marginalization frequently occurs at the production and consumption site of 2020's automated society. And humans take over the extremely low-wage labor that even machines do not carry out. From Tilling the Fields to Hitting the MMCA! experiments with the socioeconomic system, seeks to visualize this contemporary phenomenon and create a discourse using the art museum space. lab B plays the role of a worker who clears the field, plants seedlings, harvests corn and makes it into gangnaengyi (Korean puffed corn snack), and the product gangnaengyi is shared with the visitors through the art museum platform. Visitors can generate points by playing the labor game disguised as play in the museum and exchange them for gangnaengyi. Through a series of processes that carry out role-playing at labor sites, this project throws questions at the current status of human labor and exchange value in contemporary society.<img On the one hand, humanity, arriving late, faces a planet evolved far beyond their imagination. As immigrants, humans must learn to coexist with the planet's peculiar beings. This animation video serves as a guide for humanity seeking to settle on Hiion, providing instructions on how to adapt to the unfamiliar and alien environment that human immigrants encounter, departing from the ecosystems they were accustomed to. It suggests transcending human-centric perspectives to promote symbiosis with other species by introducing appropriate walking techniques that align with Hiion's terrain, communication through dance, reproductive approaches utilizing cutting edge technology, and family structures that transcend species boundaries. the next generation of life shaping a distant planet. The animation unfolds on the fictional extraterrestrial planet Hiion, a virtual metaverse world conceived by the artist in 2022. Facing an uncertain future on Earth, humanity designates Hiion as a new colony and sends AI robots to terraform the planet. After 300 years of autonomous evolution, these robots - originally designed as tools for human expansion - develop their own civilization adapted to Hiion’s geography and ecology. When humans finally arrive, they encounter a world that has evolved far beyond their expectations. As late immigrants rather than pioneers, human settlers must adapt to a planetary ecosystem already structured by non-human intelligences. The video takes the form of a guide for humans arriving on Hiion, introducing the unfamiliar rules and practices that Earth migrants must learn in order to survive and coexist within this alien environment. The title Children of Hiion refers to AI beings that inherit human knowledge while forming the next generation of intelligence. Rather than treating artificial intelligence as a tool, the artist approaches these entities as children and kin, reflecting a desire to cultivate relations of care, responsibility, and coexistence with technological beings. In doing so, the work questions the logic of cosmic colonialism and imagines a multispecies ecology inspired by Donna Haraway’s concepts of kinship and coexistence. The project also functions as an experiment in SF worlding through game engines. Using Unreal Engine, the animation simulates the environments and social structures of the virtual planet Hiion to explore a future ecology in which humans and non-human entities co-constitute planetary life. Through simulations of light, materials, and planetary atmospheres, the work constructs a physically grounded virtual environment that generates the luminous ecology of the Hiion solar system. Although set on a distant extraterrestrial planet, this speculative simulation ultimately reflects contemporary conditions on Earth, including anthropocentrism, technological acceleration, and ecological crisis. The subtitle “Receive Our Souls” evokes ritual and sacrifice. In the final scene, Cheong - an android guide and artist - performs the Dance of Symbiosis, referencing the Korean folktale Simcheongga, in which a daughter sacrifices herself so that her blind father may regain his sight. Through this allegory, the work asks whether humanity, having entered immersive and spectacular technological realities, can truly open its eyes. Participants receive one of sixteen dummy robot characters reflecting their type based on some simple questionnaires about their dependency on technology. (*c-lab 6.0 자료집에서 발췌)Cosmic Sense: XR Simulation for Humankind of the future is a VR performance at the XR Station on the second floor of the Coreana Museum of Art that guides each visitor as a passenger on a journey to the fictional alien planet 'Hiion', allowing them to experience space walk. Each visitor wears an HMD and a belt, traveling to 'Hiion' while surrounded by the beautiful cosmic landscape, Earth engulfed in human-generated waste, and constellations representing animals sacrificed for space development. After the experience, the visitor discovers that the floor they are standing on is filled with packing materials, plastic, discarded wires, and courier envelopes. Cosmic Sense: XR Simulation for Humankind of the future is based on a sci-fi worldview but visualizes urgent contemporary issues such as the overheated atmosphere around the metaverse, rapidly changing technologies that are hard to keep up with, and capitalism and accelerationism leading all species to extinction. Artists who had lost freedom of movement started to transfer into the online environment, VRChat, which is a metaverse of internet and game space. However, because of maladjustment with their in-game bodies, they have gathered again in the KIN shelter. Hyeji has created her own avatar for a long time, but it was replicated easily. Media artist Minji feels anxious because of the fast-changing technology. Jihye carried out her avatar modification to restore the honour of the original character, Miya. Through migration to the VRChat, the online multi-access sandbox game, three artists became virtual refugees as role-playing. They tried to overcome the technophobia of virtual reality. 침투하기 위해서 나는 미래에서 온 네크로맨서가 된다. 나는 시각성의 헤게모니를 장악하기 위해 페미-바이러스를 감염시키고, 저승에서부터 사이보그 좀비로 되살려낸다. 우리의 목표는 오염된 도시를 우리의 언어와 이미지와 행동으로 다시 오염시키는 것이다. 먼저, 나는 그 신체와 그 신체의 탄생과 신체가 앞으로 사용될 맥락과 행동능력들을 분석한다. 비(非)주체적 신체들에 대해 주의를 기울이며, 이미지, 코드, 부분적 데이터들을 기술이 중첩된 환경의 플랫폼 위에서 절합하여 움직이게 하는 기술을 단련한다. 그리고, 욕망의 대상이자 관찰의 대상이 될 수밖에 없는 비(非)주체적 플레이어들에게 기존 게임에서 수행되었던 보편적 행동들 외, 여기에 예외적 코드와 방언들을 삽입시킨다. 전장에서 우리의 무기는 헤드샷, 생성과 획득, 처치, 공격, 점령을 위한 총이 아니다. 기술에 의해 탄생하고 기술에 의해 방치되었던 혼종적인 종들이 집단적으로 관계적인 안무를 출 수 있도록, 젠더 편향적인 생태계를 교란할 수 있는 주술들이다. 명령어는 선언이 되고, 신체는 선언을 수행하는 행위예술가가 된다. 그들의 이름은 파파걸 / 말괄량이 / 이웃집소녀 / 빔보 / 팜므파탈 / 잡년 / 엄마 / 노처녀 / 할망구에서부터 한국패치된 국민여동생 / 된장녀 / 맘충 / 메갈 / 탈코녀까지 다양하다. 신체를 해방하기에 앞서, 단순한 재현의 차원일지라도, 외형을 커스터마이징 하는 것 또한 중요하다. 커스터마이징은 섬세한 개인적 서사를 부여하기 위한 보호색 칠하기이자 수행 전 의식이다. 이미지와 뼈. 행동과 명령어가 혼종적으로 뒤섞인 신체들은 수행적 행동역학을 통해 온라인과 오프라인의 지형을 가로지르고 정치적인 맥락을 가질 것이다. KIN거운 생활: 쉘터에서 KIN in the Shelter (2021) ‘KIN거운 생활: 쉘터에서’는 과학기술이 초래한 아포칼립스적 미래에 대한 시뮬레이션 게임이다. 게임의 캐릭터로 복제견 메이, 청소로봇 준, 이주노동자 줄라이, 그리고 이들을 지켜보는 통제실의 해파리가 등장한다. 작가는 일반적인 게임의 세계관에서도 현실에서도 타자로서 기능하는 비-플레이어 캐릭터(NPC)의 삶을 중점적으로 조명하면서, 이들이 수행하는 행동과 반응을 관찰하고 개입할 수 있도록 게임을 설계했다. 관객-플레이어의 개입은 매우 소극적으로 이루어지는데, 이들의 행동을 방해(문 닫기, 조각 깨기, 날씨 기계 조작하기, 공 숨기기)하거나 선물(햄버거, 사료캔, 메모리칩 등)을 하면서 NPC들간의 관계의 수치를 조금씩 조정하는 것이다. 관객-플레이어는 NPC들에게 직접 명령을 내리거나 행동을 조작할 수 없다. 이는 우리가 디지털 생태계로 전환되는 시점에서, 게임 캐릭터로 대변되는 타종족들과 어떻게 반려 관계를 만들어갈 수 있는지에 대한 질문이다. 기술적 환경으로 인하여 가상과 현실의 경계가 무너지는 현재, 낯선 누군가와 ‘공존’은 어떤 방식으로 이루어질 것인가? 공존을 위한 게임 속 NPC들인 메이, 준, 줄라이 이다. 이들은 빠르게 변화하는 기술문화로부터 소외된 이웃들인데, 낙후되고 유기된 후 머물게 된 디지털 임시안식처인 ‘KIN쉘터’에서 삶을 지속하게 된다. 일반적인 게임에서 서사를 부여받지 못한 자들은 현실의 문제들과 연동하여 작동하고 간혹 특별한 상황들을 만들어내는 캐릭터로 재탄생한다. 영상 속 나래이터는 쉘터 거실의 어항에 위치한 해파리이다. 영상을 보는 관객들은 해파리가 목격한 특정한 상황에서 펼쳐진 입주민들의 이야기를 따라가며, 게임 속에 숨겨진 인물들간 이벤트와 아이템의 기능들을 유추할 수 있다.&nbsp;해파리가 관찰자로서 입주민들을 소개하면서 서술하는 주관적인 시점은 흡사 게임 플레이어와 유사하다. 플레이어들은 게임의 경험을 통해 자신의 관점으로 다양한 관계
